Coach Hartman's Thoughts on the Catoctin Game:

"In the 5 years that I've been coaching and in the 10 years that I've played this game, its always difficult to play any team twice. Teams realize shooters, offensive and defensive tendencies, as well the ability to adapt to what the teams were successful with in their first meeting. I knew that Catoctin was going to come into this game with a mindset that they knew exactly what to do, but it was our job as a coaching staff to not let that happen. We mixed things up on defense and confused them for the first 3 quarters. We then were able to switch things up to keep our players fresh as well as keep Catoctin guessing. All in all, I was very pleased with our offense. We had alot of assisted goals and were moving the ball well. They are improving every time we play and that is exactly what needs to happen as we approach the playoffs. We have one regular season game left at Middletown and I wouldn't pick any other team on our schedule that I would want to play as we head into the playoffs. They are a quality team that will test us in every aspect of the game. It will be a great tune up for what we are hoping for a long playoff run."
