For the Junior Varsity's final game of the season, they hosted the Catoctin Cougars for the second time this season.  This time, the 'Roaders were poised to not be happy with just a tie.  The Cougars came to play and stole a winning a record from the Brunswick JV team by winning the game by the score of 12-5.  The Varsity team then took the field looking to make it a 5 game winning streak, but with this game being played on Saturday and the weather being extremely hot and humid, the Railroaders came out of the gate extremely flat.  When all was said and done, Brunswick skated to a 11-4 victory over their cross county rivals to move their record to 11-2.  They will finish up their regular season on Monday when they travel to Walkersville to finish their suspended game from Monday.

Coach Hartman's Thoughts on the Catoctin Game:
"From the start of this game you could tell that the players weren't playing in the heat, and they certainly weren't used to playing a game on Saturdays at 11am.  It took them a while to adjust, but they did and we ended up winning an extremely ugly game.  We will take the win and hopefully gain some momentum heading into the playoffs with the conclusion of our game against Walkersville on Monday.  We are excited for the postseason when the games are win or go home.  We think we can make a legitimate run."
